Our Team Professionals
More Than a Team, A Care-Focused Family
At Golden Years Care Consulting, we believe that supporting families takes more than credentials, it takes connection. Our compassionate team of advocates works collaboratively to provide comfort, clarity, and true partnership during a family’s most vulnerable transitions. Each member of the team has their own unique journey in healthcare, family advocacy, design, and a little dog intuition. While we all come from different places, we share a commitment to support each family’s journey through aging.
Whether our professionals are supporting your loved one with decisions around senior living, or being a companion at the end of life, they offer genuine desire, empathy, and tireless dedication to your loved one’s health.
Discover the “why” behind our mission:
Michael J. Aschinger
Michael J. Aschinger is a vital component of the Golden Years healthcare system. As the founder, Lisa’s husband and a loyal supporter, Michael tends to infuse every encounter with warmth, stability, and clarity. From the first consultations to the coordination of the move-in, he helps families throughout the entire placement process, making sure they always feel heard, seen, and supported.
His calm presence and attention to detail make him a trusted connector between families and care communities. With true devotion to service and a strong sense of the emotional burden that caregivers endure, Michael uses empathy and trust in every room he enters.
Linda K. Hansen, RN
Care Team Advocate
With 35+ years of experience in emergency care; Lisa’s mother, Linda K. Hansen, RN – offers both, clinical knowledge and a deep sense of empathy. She is well known for her exceptional ability to remain composed under duress, act swiftly, and defend the rights of each client.
Linda uses her nursing background to support families through medical transitions, dementia concerns, and post-discharge placements. Her ability to communicate with healthcare teams and understand complex care needs brings confidence and reassurance to every family she works with. For Linda, this work is about dignity, safety, and guiding people with grace.
Theodore Francis
Despite being a red mini Goldendoodle, Theodore Francis is a crucial member of our care team. Theodore fills every space with tranquility and joy, all because of his positive attitude and acute emotional awareness. Everywhere he goes, his serene demeanor uplifts the mood and reduces tension during difficult decisions.
Theodore unknowingly promotes connection and ease through nonverbal care, by simply sitting quietly during our consultation sessions or softly encouraging a smile. He acts as a reminder that a wagging tail, love, and presence may be just as therapeutic as words.
